Unit of measure for life expectancy is number of years Unit of measure for infant mortality is per thousand children born.
Life expectancy is a positive indicator of PQLI Infant mortality is a negative indicator of PQLI
Life expectancy is directly related to PQLI ie greater/lower the life expectancy better/worse will be the PQLI respectively. Infant mortality is inversely related to PQLI ie greater/lower the infant mortality worse/better will be the PQLI respectively
